Please join us on Wednesday 10th December at 2pm, in Arts 119 for some festive celebrations of recent successes and achievements, and to hear more about the latest research being produced in EDACS. Alongside quick presentations and lightening talks, we will have a longer work-in-progress session, to include Dr Louise Curran who will share research from her current project, The Making of Letters as Literature, for which she received a Leverhulme fellowship. The title of her paper is ‘The Little Matters of Jane Austen’s Letters’, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions as we support this exciting new project.
There’s still space for you to get involved in the event, so if you have something you would like to share with us, either with a brief lightning talk about your current work, or simply a shout out about a recent publication, submission of a funding bid, or a successful PhD defence, please get in touch with me, or let me know on the day: we’ll be delighted to include you in the programme.
After the talks, we will head to the Edgbaston Park Hotel on campus for drinks, so do please join us for that as well if you can.
