Provisionally scheduled for early May, the PG Symposium will be a chance for postgrads to get together in a low-pressure environment and hear about the work that\u2019s being done by members of the centre, as well as gaining some useful advice from staff in a couple of informal professional development sessions during the day. It is also a great opportunity to gain some presenting experience that will be invaluable when presenting at conferences and other events. The CFP will be circulated soon, and in the meantime do get in touch with any queries or concerns at\u00a019cc@contacts.bham.ac.uk<\/a>.<\/p>\n Sites of Feeling Symposium (Late May)<\/strong><\/p>\n Colleagues from across UoB will share papers at an in-person symposium on campus at the end of May.<\/p>\n Public Lecture<\/strong><\/p>\n Dr Clare Bucknell will talk about the role of anthologies in nineteenth-century culture.
