Call for Papers \u2013 19CC Postgraduate Symposium<\/strong><\/p>\n The University of Birmingham Nineteenth-Century Centre is delighted to share the Call for Papers for our Postgraduate Symposium taking place on Monday, 15th<\/sup> May 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The Postgraduate Symposium will be an opportunity for students to come together in a low-pressure environment to hear about and celebrate the fantastic and diverse work that\u2019s being undertaken by postgraduates in the centre, as well as gaining some useful advice from staff in a couple of professional development workshops during the day. It is also a great opportunity to gain some valuable presenting experience and receive constructive feedback from peers.<\/p>\n We invite proposals for short papers (approx. 10-15 minutes) that can be as formal or informal as you wish \u2013 a work-in-progress talk or summary of your current research, for instance, or a more specific conference-style paper.
