\"CLiC<\/p>\n

The Centre for Corpus Linguistics and the Nineteenth-Century Centre at the University of Birmingham will be jointly running a training session on using the\u00a0CLiC web application<\/a>\u00a0for the study of 19th century fiction. CLiC includes all novels by Charles Dickens, a collection of 19th century classics and a collection of 19th century children\u2019s literature. The training session aims to bring together linguistic, literary and socio-cultural interests in the 19th century. Participants will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with CLiC and discuss wider questions around interdisciplinary research into the 19th century.<\/p>\n
