Rebecca gave a keynote speech and hosted panel session on the Treasury Green Book.<\/li>\n<li>On 24<sup>th<\/sup> January, Rebecca Riley presented at the ONS Local Data Conference \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.co.uk\/e\/ons-local-data-conference-tickets-487125745217\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Supporting local policy making &#8211; how ONS\u2019s statistics help us better understand geographical disparities<\/a>\u201d held at Birmingham City Council.<\/li>\n<li>On 26<sup>th<\/sup> January, Rebecca Riley presented at the Birmingham Data Charter Workshop \u2013 hosting a partner session for Birmingham City Council.<\/li>\n<li>On 26<sup>th<\/sup> January, Rebecca Riley chaired the <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.bham.ac.uk\/cityredi\/the-green-book-user-group-strong-foundations-for-better-intervention-development\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Green Book Network<\/a> Steering Group meeting.<\/li>\n<li>On 31<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0January, Professor Simon Collinson presented at the Blavatnik School, Oxford University (POGO club) event \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/golab.bsg.ox.ac.uk\/community\/events\/POGO-Jan-23\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">How can we release the potential of public procurement to stimulate innovation &amp; drive growth?<\/a>\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6><strong>Reports \/ publications released <\/strong><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.birmingham.ac.uk\/schools\/business\/research\/research-projects\/city-redi\/wm-redi\/theme-2\/productivity-in-the-west-midlands.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Productivity in the West Midlands<\/a> \u2013 new WMREDI report by Melisa Wickham.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.birmingham.ac.uk\/schools\/business\/research\/research-projects\/city-redi\/wm-redi\/theme-2\/productivity-in-the-west-midlands.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Social Prescribing for Young People in the West Midlands: The Potential Impact on Employment and the Economy<\/a> \u2013 new WMREDI report by Dr Joanne Mills, Francesca Hutchin, and Dr Rachel Hopley.<\/li>\n<li>City-REDI\u2019s work with CIPFA \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.birmingham.ac.uk\/schools\/business\/research\/research-projects\/city-redi\/wm-redi\/theme-2\/productivity-in-the-west-midlands.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Addressing Regional Inequalities<\/a>\u201d and also our work with the Joseph Rowntree Foundation \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.birmingham.ac.uk\/schools\/business\/research\/research-projects\/city-redi\/wm-redi\/theme-2\/productivity-in-the-west-midlands.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">How do cities lead an inclusive growth agenda?<\/a><em>\u201d<\/em> was featured in the recently released report from IPPR North \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.birmingham.ac.uk\/schools\/business\/research\/research-projects\/city-redi\/wm-redi\/theme-2\/productivity-in-the-west-midlands.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The State of the North 2023<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Charlotte Hoole co-authored a paper called \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tandfonline.com\/doi\/full\/10.1080\/00343404.2022.2152436\">A place-based system? Regional policy levers and the UK\u2019s productivity challenge<\/a>\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Sara Hassan contributed a chapter to a book called \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.birmingham.ac.uk\/schools\/business\/research\/research-projects\/city-redi\/wm-redi\/theme-2\/productivity-in-the-west-midlands.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Engaged Urban Pedagogy: Participatory practices in planning and place-making<\/a>\u201d. The chapter is called \u201cCo-production and the pedagogy of exchange: lessons \u200e\u200efrom community research training \u200fin Birmingham\u201d and was co-authored by City-REDI Associate Liam O\u2019Farrell.
