This exercise forms part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.midlandsengine.org\/our-projects\/economic-observatory\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Midlands Engine Economic Observatory<\/a>, led by City-REDI at the University of Birmingham, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ntu.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nottingham Trent University<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.the-blackcountry.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Black Country Consortium<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The first phase of work is now underway to scope, define and agree on the core focus of the IER. As part of this early work, the research team are gathering existing evidence from stakeholders across the Midlands, which the review will build on.\u00a0 <strong>We\u00a0invite you to take part in our Call for Evidence to inform the IER.<\/strong>\u00a0 Specifically, we would appreciate your thoughts and reflections in relation to the following questions:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>What top three issues, themes or research questions should the IER focus on and why?<\/li>\n<li>What evidence has been generated locally that might be useful as part of the IER\u2019s review of existing evidence?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>For further information on the Call for Evidence, and a form to submit your answers and evidence, please <a href=\"https:\/\/www.midlandsengine.org\/our-projects\/economic-observatory\/call-for-evidence\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">click here<\/a>.
