The meeting consisted of three presentations, each relating to a forthcoming grant application. Dr Alessio Gallina presented on \u2018How do pain and movement influence each other?\u2019, Dr Bernard Liew (a close collaborator from the University of Essex) presented on \u2018Why do confident people recover quicker from back pain?\u2019 and Dr David Evans presented on \u2018Measuring pain over time.\u2019 The presentations created much discussion within the Group and the applications benefited greatly from the important input from the PPIE Group members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The last CPR Spine PPIE Group meeting was also held online via Zoom on Friday 8<sup>th<\/sup> October. We had a special guest presentation at the meeting: Professor Adrian Gardner, Consultant Spinal Surgeon and Research Lead at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham.
