The holy day celebrates the birth of Bah\u00e1\u2019u\u2019ll\u00e1h the founder of the Bah\u00e1\u02bc\u00ed Faith.<\/p>\n<p>Bah\u00e1&#8217;u&#8217;ll\u00e1h was born on 12 November 1817 in Tehran, Iran and this holy day was instituted in the Kitab-i-Aqdas, his book of laws, where Bah\u00e1\u02bcu&#8217;ll\u00e1h first refers to four great festivals: the Festival of Ridv\u00e1n,\u00a0the Declaration of the B\u00e1b, the birth of the B\u00e1b \u2013 who is considered to be a manifestation of God, and who foretold the coming of Bah\u00e1\u02bcu&#8217;ll\u00e1h \u2013 and the birth of Bah\u00e1\u02bcu&#8217;ll\u00e1h.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Birth of Bah\u00e1\u02bcu&#8217;ll\u00e1h is one of nine holy days in the Bah\u00e1\u2019i calendar that is celebrated by Bah\u00e1\u2019is and during which work is suspended.
