Thanks to a suggestion from Reuben, we&#8217;ll be discussing portrayals of ancient Egypt in science fiction, for which we&#8217;ll be reading &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/journals.ub.uni-heidelberg.de\/index.php\/aegyp\/article\/view\/105632\/104355\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Do Ancient Egyptians Dream of Electric Sheep?: The\u00a0Reception of Ancient Egypt in\u00a0Science Fiction<\/a>&#8216; by Eleanor\u00a0Dobson &amp; Leire\u00a0Olabarria.
