The PPROTEX project has now been able to carry out a full codicological analysis of all of the Alfonsine manuscripts and we are ready to move on to the next stage. It\u2019s an excellent reminder of the importance of the material dimension of medieval studies and the wonderful professionals who maintain and preserve the precious objects we study.
