It was a pleasure to join Prof Barry Drust <\/a>and Dr Liam Anderson<\/a> recently at the Premier League for the day. The day launched a new initiative for the Premier League to support Academy practitioners in achieving their BASES accreditation.\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the first cohort embarking on a bespoke route of <\/em>BASES supported <\/em>direct application, which we have been working hard on over the last year with <\/em>Dr <\/em>Gill Myburgh and Dr Matt Green of the Premier League.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pathway seeks to help those with sufficient experience for direct application who need an element of advising throughout the process, while also juggling their applied roles. It was a fantastic day getting to know the intake as well as learning of the <\/em>Premier League\u2019<\/em>s aspirations for the project moving forwards.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

More broadly, the invitation to be involved in the planning and execution of this initiative for GSSPP staff is a real honour and further expands the group\u2019s network through the individuals we will be working alongside during the process<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n
