The best part of participating in the Finding Our Foremothers competition wasn’t just about winning – it was about learning! I had great fun reading about all the inspiring women and their achievements (while having healthy exercise climbing up and down the stairs at the university building!). –\u00a0Citta Widagdo, PhD Law<\/strong><\/p>\n I got involved with the selfie contest because I wanted to show my support for what I thought was a brilliant way of raising awareness about the role of women in history, and the importance of recovering the voices and experiences of women. It was an intellectually-stimulating and inspirational afternoon spent reading and researching the women nominated for the contest.
