IT Services staff make BUAFTAs 2019 shortlist

Published: Posted on

The Birmingham University Awards for Tremendous Achievement (BUAFTAs) offer the opportunity to celebrate and showcase some of the fantastic work of Professional Services staff from across the University. The BUAFTAs celebrate the fact that behind every achievement, however big or small, there are individuals and teams who are making great things happen.

This year the University received a whopping 1,258 BUAFTA nominations, beating last year by 503 nominations! This is why it is such a fantastic achievement for the 5 staff from IT Services who were officially announced as BUAFTA shortlisted finalists at the end of last year. A massive congratulations goes out to.

Debbie Carter, Research Training and Engagement Officer – Team Player of the Year

Tom Cave, Desktop Support Specialist – Customer Service Award

Nikki Dutton, IT Service Desk Manager – Continued Excellence Award

Dzintars Romans, Desktop Support Apprentice – Apprentice of the Year

Rashid Ravat, IT Manager – Birmingham Professional of the Year

We wish all our shortlisted finalists the best of luck at the awards evening on Friday 15 February 2019 when the BUAFTAs 2019 winners will be announced.
