{"id":27,"date":"2023-08-22T16:37:59","date_gmt":"2023-08-22T15:37:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.bham.ac.uk\/memoryastransgenerationalcare\/?p=27"},"modified":"2023-08-23T17:18:37","modified_gmt":"2023-08-23T16:18:37","slug":"workshop-call-for-participants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.bham.ac.uk\/memoryastransgenerationalcare\/2023\/08\/22\/workshop-call-for-participants\/","title":{"rendered":"Workshop: Call for Participants"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>WORKSHOP WITH THE DESCENDANTS OF THE BASQUE CHILDREN EVACUATED TO THE UK DURING THE SPANISH CIVIL WAR AS WELL WITH THOSE MORE BROADLY INVOLVED IN THIS CHAPTER OF HISTORY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The working group Memory as Transgenerational Care (<em>Transmisi\u00f3n Transgeneracional de la Memoria<\/em>), formed by members of various UK academic institutions and the Association for the Basque Children of the UK as well as artists working in various disciplines, cordially invites you to participate in our workshop on the transmission of memory through generations, to be held at <strong>The Southampton City Art Gallery (Gallery 3)<\/strong>\u00a0on <strong>21st September 2023 at 11.00am.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During the workshop, we will create a space for reflection and conversation in which you will be able to share your memories and those of your family members.
