{"id":178,"date":"2018-06-25T15:23:04","date_gmt":"2018-06-25T14:23:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.bham.ac.uk\/newcore\/?p=178"},"modified":"2018-06-28T15:00:14","modified_gmt":"2018-06-28T14:00:14","slug":"july-town-hall-finance-demonstration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.bham.ac.uk\/newcore\/2018\/06\/25\/july-town-hall-finance-demonstration\/","title":{"rendered":"July Town Hall &#8211; Finance demonstration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Colleagues are invited to attend the next New Core \u2018Town Hall\u2019 meeting on Wednesday 11 July,\u00a01-2pm, in Lecture Theatre G15 of the Muirhead Tower.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This session will be led by Michael Dean, New Core Finance Workstream Lead, and will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>an overview of Finance functionality that will be available in the new system<\/li>\n<li>a demonstration of expenses processes and procedures<\/li>\n<li>a demonstration of requisitioning (raising orders) in the new system<\/li>\n<li>opportunity to raise your Finance queries with the New Core Finance team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The short film below also provides a sneak preview of how to raise an expense claim in the new system via a tablet or smartphone.
