The UrbTerr team are absolutely delighted to announce that our new edited volume, Urban Terrorism in Europe: Remembering, Imagining and Anticipating Violence is available to download for free or purchase now through Springer!
This OpenAccess volume was put together as a team effort and edited by PI Katharina Karcher, PhD candidates Yordanka Dimcheca and Mireya Toribio Medina, and Research Assistant Mia Parkes. It analyses a range of personal and collective responses to urban terrorism in contemporary Europe and shows that current debates on memory and terror are shaped by multiple co-existing and intersecting memories of political violence in the past. As well as academic contributions, the volume also includes creative responses from survivors of terror attacks, artists, and poets.
