{"id":995,"date":"2023-08-04T16:09:42","date_gmt":"2023-08-04T15:09:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.bham.ac.uk\/weareimsr\/?p=995"},"modified":"2023-08-04T16:39:42","modified_gmt":"2023-08-04T15:39:42","slug":"young-people-get-involved-in-research","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.bham.ac.uk\/weareimsr\/2023\/08\/04\/young-people-get-involved-in-research\/","title":{"rendered":"Young People &#8211; Get involved in research!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Are you aged 13-17 and living in or near Birmingham UK in the West Midlands?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Do you believe women\u2019s health research is important? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Would you like to share your views, ideas &amp; suggestions for future research, as well as advise on current research taking place?<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are starting a new young people\u2019s advisory group and we are looking for enthusiastic young people to take part! We offer payment for your involvement time (normally \u00a325 per hour) &amp; activities are often online, so it&#8217;s easy to take part. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>We value diversity<\/strong> &#8211; we want young people will all kinds of backgrounds!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Research topics include things like: period health and common conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), diabetes, headaches, pregnancy in women, menopause and more.
