A half-day event organised by the IT Innovation Centre as part of wider consultation for the University of Birmingham Collaborative Teaching Lab project on 5th March 2015. Its aim was to bring together academics and technology developers to discuss the requirements for the teaching labs of the future.
The event focused around two sessions: one driven by an academic panel, to showcase and discuss the developmental priorities and requirements for virtual teaching labs. The second session was driven by a panel of technology developers who gave an overview of a range of technologies available and their advantages and limitations. The sessions were followed by a discussion facilitated by CLAD.
