Page Breaks: Works Loved – Endings (or whatever)

(But just for now!)

On Wednesday 29 July (1 pm), we will be hosting our final Page Breaks of the 2019-2020 academic year. We’ll be returning to our ‘Works Loved’ format, with a provisional theme of ‘Endings’. (But equally, feel free to come with anything you like!)

Find out more about the Works Loved format here: https://blog.bham.ac.uk/englitpostgrad/works-loved/

Text

No set text – you could bring along a passage to read from, or just come ready to talk with us about your chosen book(s). This time, we’d also encourage other forms of media – if you have a video or an image you’d like to speak to, feel free to get in touch with details and we’ll post links here, so people can watch in advance. If you’d like to submit a passage but would prefer not to read over Zoom, please just let us know and one of us will be happy to read for you.

Time and Place

  • Wed 29 July, 1pm-2:30pm
  • Location: Zoom (password: pagebreaks)

This event is run by Dorothy Butchard (d.butchard@bham.ac.uk) and Toria Johnson (t.johnson@bham.ac.uk). Please email us if you have any question, but you’re welcome to just turn up – no need to register in advance!
