IAPR Conference 2025:
Tue 19 – Fri 22 August 2025, Birmingham, UK
The next conference of the International Association for the Psychology of Religion (IAPR) will take place from Tue 19 August to Fri 22 August 2025 at the University of Birmingham, UK.
The overall conference theme is: Highlighting the Cross-Disciplinarity of the Psychology of Religion.
The call for proposals and call for the IAPR Early Career Award are now open until 14 February 2025.
Registration for IAPR conference will open in early March 2025 once the call for proposals have been closed and successful applicants have been notified.
Associated events
There will be a pre-conference on the afternoon of Tue 19 August 2025, on the theme of Widening the Methods Toolbox in the Psychology of Religion.
Attendees to IAPR 2025 may also be interested in a ‘sister’ conference on Psychology-Engaged Theology. Both events will share a keynote on the evening of 19 August.

- IAPR Conference, 19-22 August 2025 (starting at 17:00 on August 19)
Please note that the 2025 IAPR conference will be held exclusively in person; there are no options for online attendance.
