Dr Wenlong Li (School of Law) presented on live facial recognition trials in the public sphere, and Dr Masoumeh (Iran) Mansouri (School of Computer Science) presented on knowledge representation in robots, focussing specifically the ability of current AI to represent notions of culture.

Dr Ian Batten (School of Computer Science) presented on ethics in cybersecurity research, and Nathalie Smuha (Faculty of Law, KU Leuven) presented on AI and European values, focussing specifically on the effects of AI on the rule of law.
