30th anniversary of the opening of the Channel Tunnel

Opening on 6^th May 1994, this year marks the 30^th anniversary of the opening of the Channel Tunnel. The anniversary allows us to reflect on three decades of profound connectivity between the United Kingdom and France. Since its inauguration, the tunnel has facilitated seamless travel, trade and cultural exchange, symbolizing the unification of Europe. Its engineering marvels and operational excellence stand as a testament to human ingenuity and collaboration. Beyond its physical dimensions, the tunnel embodies the spirit of unity and cooperation, fostering bonds that transcend borders.
