Page Breaks, with Dr Jamie Page: Limmy’s Vines

On Thursday 18 June (2.30 pm) we’re considering (some of) LIMMY’S VINES with guest-host Dr Jamie Page.

Text (Watching)

  • A discussion of selected vines from the Glaswegian comedian, Limmy.
  • The entire series can be found here. Please watch the following:
    1) Frosty Jack’s

    2) The Plasterer

    5) The Laugher

    8) Designer Drug Ecstasy

    9) You Can’t Be Serious Geoff, C’mon

(and any others you feel like!)
  • Jamie will be keen to hear your thoughts on this material, but it has specifically been nominated for the ways it might engage with issue  of digital subjectivity. How does Limmy present himself as a digital subject?  How does his use of media resonate in the time of lockdown?
