Thankfully, despite the 442 views we got on Facebook this week, the whole EDIT team have survived ‘hug a medievalist day’ on Monday without too many PDAs as would be seemly for a project based in Britain. Good job really, since the very first annual EDIT colloquium is just around the corner. As you can imagine, it’s all go-go-go in the EDIT office. Marine, Christian and I have been busily preparing our papers and PowerPoints, and of course sorting out the really important stuff (by which I mean which pub we will take our guests to on Wednesday night). Our new colleague Alicia arrived yesterday, a mere ten hours before her suitcase, and is now another happy resident of the EDIT HQ. Bárbara and Fiona will be arriving soon, as will our colloquium guests, and before we know it it will be time to really get this show on the road. Go go gadget Colloquium!
