The College of Medical and Dental Sciences (MDS) IT Services team is very pleased to announce the successful release of Eduroam across the entire Queen Elizabeth Hospital!
Eduroam is the University’s main wireless network and is used by all University staff, students and visitors. Following the successful launch of Eduroam within the Institute of Translation Medicine (ITM) back in 2015, this new release across Queen Elizabeth Hospital (UHB) is yet another example of great team work, and a growing collaboration between nearby NHS trusts and the University.
We’re very pleased the release was such a success. So many teams were involved, and it took a lot of long hours and hard work! A special thank you to the Network team within Core Infrastructure for their continued efforts, and especially to Marc Steele who persevered with troubleshooting alongside UHB, to ensure the service could be released. Mark Smith, Deputy College IT Manager – Medical and Dental Sciences
On behalf of IT Services – well done to all those involved!
