Just prior to Easter, we invited you to complete the 2019 IT Services Staff Survey. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to each of you for taking the opportunity and the time to fill it in. Your feedback is invaluable.
“We are all in this together and the better we communicate the better things will get.”
We are delighted to report a 63% response rate, higher than IT staff completion in the 2016 University of Birmingham Staff Survey.
Results have been analysed, and anonymised reports have been reviewed by both to the IT Leadership Team (ITLT) and ITOMT (IT Operational Management Team) who are using your feedback, suggestions and ideas to prepare action plans around leadership, communication, development, and enablement within our workplace.
What you can expect next
We don’t want to keep you waiting too long, but there is a little more we need to do before the full results are shared. Over the coming weeks and months, here’s what to look out for:
- Publication of the Staff Survey Results and Action Plan via the IT Services Intranet
- Staff Survey Presentation in the next IT Services All Staff Brief
- Regular Action Plan Updates in the IT Newsletter
- Quarterly ‘Pulse’ Surveys in July and October 2019
- Next Annual Survey in April 2020
