Hi everyone!
Well, another year is rushing to its Christmas finish. Many thanks to each of you for your hard work throughout the year—for continuing to strive for exemplary service provision; for all the various projects and upgrades successfully delivered, and for your contribution to University initiatives throughout the year. We have been increasing staff numbers in the team during 2017, and will continue this growth into 2018.
2018 promises to be an equally busy year, with several major milestones due: our Park Grange Data Centre coming on-stream; the opening of the Dubai campus; the launch of CTL2; completion of the WiFi replacement programme; the new hotel and conference centre; and of course NewCore – plus many more. Also, following my departure, you have the prospect of a new Head of IT! So, an exciting year ahead.
