The Communications team is currently working on a project to completely overhaul the internal IT Services staff intranet pages.
These pages are password protected and only accessible by ITS staff. The plan is to move the News Blog over onto these pages, to ensure that our internal news stories are only seen by ITS staff, and to enable us to share information about projects and events which we want to keep within the department.
We will continue to run all of the usual features of the News Blog – news stories, the Spotlight, new starters; but there will be lots more features as well.
We plan to introduce an Events Calendar, to help you track the various events running across ITS – such as Lunch and Learns, Health and Wellbeing events, training courses, social and charity events. You will be able to find information about colleagues more easily in the new, updated Who’s Who section.
You’ll still be able to find out about local ITS procedures, such as how to report absence from work, or submit a training request.
The new look internal staff intranet pages will go live in September 2018 – watch this space for more information.
