Changes to the IT Services Admin Team

As you will all be aware there have been some substantial changes to the Admin Team over the last few weeks. We said farewell to Lucy Horsnett and then Katie Tyler and welcomed Anita Kalsi and Karen Snell to the team. The one consistency has been our awesome Receptionist, Jane Adams.

Changes to the role and function of the team

As well as a change in personnel, we have also made some changes to the role and function of the team.  Moving forward, the team will no longer be referred to as HR/Admin – instead they will simply be known as IT Services Admin.

Between now and February, the date when New Core is anticipated to go live, the Admin team will support the following tasks:

AV1s
New starters – induction packs
Absence monitoring
Annual leave forms
Associates
Training and expenses
Stationary and furniture orders
Purchase orders
Building fobs
Maintenance calls

This is not an exhaustive list and the team will continue to pick up other ad-hoc tasks as and when required.

Absence reporting and HR queries 

Any absence from work due to illness will still need to be reported as normal through the IT Services Sick Line on 0121 414 8985.

If you have any HR related queries including recruitment issues then you will need to contact Central HR through the HR Portal.

Hannah Hogben and Bryoney Johnson from New Core will be running HR awareness sessions in November which all line managers will be required to attend. In these sessions you will receive advice on the best way to contact HR during the transition period.  Bryoney will be advising staff on the New Core self-service HR/Finance service which will be in place post February.
