Work will begin shortly on the refurb of the G7 and G8 offices of Elms Road, the work is expected to take 5 weeks to complete. Details of the work are still being finalised, and one of the items that needs to be considered is the placement of the contractor’s compound and skip. The Ideal placement for these during the works is as per the image below –
The downside of this is that we’ll lose four parking spaces for the duration of the refurb, one of which is a designated disabled bay. This leaves us with only one remaining disabled bay outside Elm Road’s main door into reception. However, this may not be enough.
One of our other spaces can be temporarily converted into a blue badge holder’s spot if required, so if anyone feels that is something that they will need, please contact Stuart Atkins, Data Centre Manager as soon as possible so that he can discuss it further with the contractors.
