Following the departure of Admin Assistant, Karen Snell and the imminent arrival of New Core there is no longer a requirement for an HR admin team within IT Services.
As of now Jane Adams and Peter Rush will operate the Elms Road reception and pick up some day to day admin tasks. Both Jane and Peter will be line managed by Cathie Dingwall until the new Elms Road building coordinator, Dominic Cross begins on Monday, 3 June.
Reception will continue to be responsible for meeting room bookings, post etc. They will also be responsible for processing training and conference requests through ServiceNow including booking travel and hotels as well as stationery orders and issuing new starter packs. For the time being they will also monitor the Sick Line and notify line managers of any absences.
They will no longer be able process associates, expenses or purchase orders. These tasks will be carried out by individuals in New Core once the system goes live.
Any matters relating to building management at Elms Road, including managing access, space allocation, health and safety and any maintenance issues will be the responsibility of the new building coordinator, Dominic Cross once he starts in post in June.
