The work to transform what was an old storeroom into a new quiet space for nursing mothers and a private place for staff to pray is almost complete.
Last week, workmen began renovating room 106A in Elms Road into a brand new space, complete with new flooring and air conditioning. New furniture is now on order and the room should be available to use over the coming weeks.
Providing a dual function space for both nursing women and for staff to pray is one of the actions that has come out of the Women in IT task group which aims to make our working environment in IT Services more diverse.
A key to the room will be available on reception once the work is finally complete.
