The New Core HR and Payroll team has been working closely with colleagues across Colleges and Professional Services to map roles and responsibilities for within the new system.
This has included looking at organisation charts from all areas of the University and cross-referencing them to lists of staff. This has produced, the first standardised data set of all management structures across UoB. This is important so that data is only seen by members of staff that are entitled to see it.
Each budget centre has nominated representatives to work with the New Core HR & Payroll team to ensure that each member of staff will be allocated the correct role and responsibilities. The New Core team are dependent upon these budget centre representatives keeping them informed, at designated review times, of ongoing changes in order to ensure that all staff have the right access when the system launches.
A similar review is underway for Finance related roles and responsibilities.
