We Are IMSR: Community Action Team!

****DEADLINE EXTENDED TO FEBRUARY 7TH, 2021****

We are now looking for a small number of IMSR Phd & PostDoc volunteers to join our We Are IMSR: Community Action Team (CAT) to support the planning, programming and delivery of this event, as well as other strategic engagement activities throughout the year.

• Are you a PhD or PostDoc within IMSR who is passionate about engaging patients and members of the public with research?
• Are you keen to raise the visibility of your work and develop your public engagement and communications skills, working as part of a collaborative IMSR team?
• Do you want to raise aspirations in young people who may not yet be convinced by the attainability, relevance and fulfilment of STEM careers?

The group will work with our Community & Public Engagement Manager, Caroline Gillett, and will receive media training, to build their confidence in representing and supporting their research theme to engage.
