In October 2025, our project began. We’ll post here some details of the activities we have all been engaging on!
December 2025:
Very happy to have begun the analysis of manuscripts in our PPROTEX project – the beneficiary of an APEX award from the The Royal Society, The Leverhulme Trust and The British Academy.
First test samples and codicological analyses done in an intensive week in Madrid and some intensive work at the Bibliothèque de l’Arsenal in Paris. Major thanks to the curators and conservators in Paris and at the Biblioteca Histórica Universidad Complutense de Madrid
and the Biblioteca Nacional de España and especial thank you to the ever generous Professor Laura Fernández Fernández.
