IT Services manages a large number of projects of varying sizes. All new projects are discussed at the fortnightly Project Advisory Committee – which includes representatives from all areas – before being submitted to the IT Leadership Team (ITLT) for approval.
We have created a visual overview of our pipeline of projects. This diagram will be updated every two months – and will be shared here in the News Blog.
The latest diagram shows all the new ideas coming into the service – including large initiatives such as:
- The student records system enhancement to Banner 9 – a substantial project, upgrading the current system to a more richly functional platform. This is currently being piloted through the new Student Profile project.
- A number of IT projects to enable the new Dubai campus.
Over the last 2 months we have also completed a number of new projects, including:
- The automated lecture capture project – enabling the recording of lectures by academics.
- Student Number Planning for the Planning Office.
- The implementation of BoardPad.
