To This Day: sharing experiences and shaping the future of PCOS/PMOS research

To mark PCOS/PMOS Awareness Month, Chronically Me Dani is hosting To This Day — an afternoon of conversation, creativity and reflection exploring the different experiences of living with PCOS/PMOS.

While symptoms and individual experiences can differ, many people share the experience of having to fight to be believed, understood and supported. This workshop provides a welcoming space to talk about the journey towards diagnosis and the experiences along the way. Participants will also have the opportunity to create small canvas tiles featuring messages and imagery that represent their individual experiences.

The event is in collaboration with Dr Caroline Gillett, a researcher based in MSS who is currently developing a project around PCOS/PMOS. The workshop provides a valuable opportunity for participants to share their thoughts, experiences and ideas about what the future of PCOS/PMOS research should look like.

The workshop is open to people aged 18 and over and will take place in person at the University of Birmingham Medical School (WG16).

When: 18 September, 11:45am–3pm
Where: Medical School, WG16 (B1 on the campus map)

Registration is required to attend. This is a great opportunity for anyone with lived experience of PCOS/PMOS to connect with others, share their experiences and help shape research that responds to the issues that matter to them.
