Diabetes in Pregnancy: Let’s not sugar coat it! (March 13th, 2021)

The WHO Collaborating Centre for Global Women’s Health (based at the IMSR) and Barts Research Centre for Women’s Health (BARC) are excited to collaborate and invite you to a webinar on diabetes in pregnancy.

Saturday 13th March 2021 (12-1pm GMT) | Diabetes in Pregnancy: let’s not sugar-coat it | Register online here.

 There will be talks from experts in the UK (including IMSR’s Professor Shakila Thangaratinam) and India on the prevention of diabetes in pregnancy, and a discussion of our current research. We will also hear from women who participated in our research and the audience will be able to ask questions, as well as take part in the healthy food photo competition linked to the event! Winners announced live on the day

  1. Post a photo of your favourite healthy dish with a list of the main ingredients
  2. Use hashtag #sugarcoatit2021 on Twitter or Instagram or Facebook (make sure your post is set to Public, or we won’t be able to see it)
  3. Deadline 11 March @12 midnight GMT
  4. 1 entry per person and winners announced at the webinar on 13th March 2021 at 12pm.
