Young People – Get involved in research!

Published: Posted on

Are you aged 13-17 and living in or near Birmingham UK in the West Midlands?

Do you believe women’s health research is important?

Would you like to share your views, ideas & suggestions for future research, as well as advise on current research taking place?

We are starting a new young people’s advisory group and we are looking for enthusiastic young people to take part! We offer payment for your involvement time (normally £25 per hour) & activities are often online, so it’s easy to take part.

We value diversity – we want young people will all kinds of backgrounds!

Research topics include things like: period health and common conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), diabetes, headaches, pregnancy in women, menopause and more. All kinds of women’s health!

Please do ask your parent or guardian to ensure they are happy for you to get in touch, as we would need both your and their permission for you to join the group.

To find out more, please email Caroline: c.d.t.gillett@bham.ac.uk

Caroline can tell you more about what to expect and answer any questions you or your parent/guardian might have.
