On Tuesday 21 July, the R User Group will be hosting its monthly meetup at Elm House — this time featuring an interactive TidyTuesday session focused on practising and improving your skills in the R programming language.
We’ll explore a fun, real‑world dataset from TidyTuesday, an international community project designed to help you practise data exploration, visualisation, and sharing your insights using R.
The session is open to beginners and experts alike. We’ll start with a short introduction to the dataset and its structure, followed by a hands‑on workshop where you can analyse and visualise an accessible but interesting dataset. Example code and workflows will be available to help you get started, and there will be support throughout to help you troubleshoot any issues.
