The sprint brings together contributors of all experience levels to work alongside members of the R Core Team on improvements and contributions to base R.

More information can be found on the R Project Sprint event 2026 website.

Join UoB RUG on 2 September at the Precision Health Technologies Accelerator to hear sprint participants report back on activities they have been working on and optionally stay a while to observe/contribute to work in progress.

Schedule
• 15:00 – 15:30 Coffee break (central lounge, 4th floor)
• 15:30 – 16:30 Hybrid Teams meeting (room 4.15)
• 16:30 – 17:30 Optional co-working with sprint participants (nearby rooms, hybrid possible)
