Lore + (Dis)order exhibition launches!

The Centre for Systems Modelling and Quantitative Biomedicine (SMQB) launched its sciart exhibition ‘Lore + (Dis)order’ last Friday night and approximately 200-250 people visited well into the night! Visitors explored the gallery and chatted with the artists and scientists involved in collaborating on each of the artworks. We were also really pleased to see some of our lived experience collaborators pop along too! The exhibition lasts until September 23rd, 2022 (open Wednesdays to Saturdays, 12 – 6 pm) so don’t miss your chance to see it!

Sciart & Lived Experience: Workshop

Saturday 10th September | 12:00 – 15:00

Drop-in for a hands-on creative making workshop celebrating the collision of science and art. This event will be facilitated by artists Charlotte Dunn, Vicky Roden and Karina Thompson, alongside exhibition curator Caroline Gillett.

Lore & (Dis)order – In Conversation

Wednesday 21st September | 18:00 – 20:00

Join us in person at Centrala or online for this hybrid discussion to reflect on the exhibition themes and the role of interdisciplinary in all our lives.
