City REDI is hosting fringe events at the Labour and Conservative party conferences this autumn, called “Devo Question Time: Connectivity and Growth”.

The events, being organised by Devo Connect, focus on transport and connectivity, which have become vital issues where Metro Mayors can have a real impact on the economic growth of their cities. With a panel format, the event asks the question – Can devolution deliver transport that creates economic growth and connects regions around the UK?

  • Jim McMahon MP, Shadow Minister for Local Government and Devolution
  • Sir John Peace, Chairman, Midlands Connect
  • Cllr Judith Blake, Council Leader, Leeds City Council
  • Dr Adam Marshall (Chair), Director General, British Chambers of Commerce
