Event: Engaging SME Tech Innovators with Local Government change agents – 11th May 2018, 10:30 – 16:30

“Have you created a digital solution to a really intransigent Local Government problem – something that saves money or helps vulnerable people?

Have you been motivated – not by the bottom line – but by the fact that you care about public services?

Do you want your innovation to get way more traction – to work with as many other Local Authorities as possible to exploit and develop your solution?

On the other hand – are you a Local Government person that is crying out for new ideas and creative people to develop solutions with?

Here’s your chance to meet your match – and tackle all those frustrating blockages that are preventing digitally enabled change to happen fast in Local Government.

At our Birmingham event on Friday 11th May – you will set the agenda – you bring your issues.

And smart creative brains, coming from all the different perspectives, will take an open-minded approach to fixing them.

It will be different.

It will be dynamic.

We’ll look at both sides of the equation – SMEs engaging with Local Government and on the other hand – Local Government commisioning technology providers.

We’ll listen to and understand each other’s viewpoints

By the end of the day both groups will have:

– New insights to develop their approach

– Better  engagement

– SMEs getting a bigger slice of the Local Government Digital cake.

The prioritised findings from the day will be published openly and we’ll try to find funding to take them forward as actions by some of the organisations in attendance.
