Our 4th annual colloquium will be held at the University of Birmingham on Tuesday 13th to Thursday 15th December 2016. As part of this colloquium we will be launching our digital edition.

Location
The conference will take place on the Edgbaston (main) campus in the Muirhead Tower, room 112.
Audio-visual information
The conference room will have a Windows computer, a screen, a projector, wi-fi and capabilities to link your Mac computer with the visual equipment. Please advise us by email with as much notice as possible if you require audio equipment for your paper and we will endeavour to provide it for you.
Certificates of attendance or participation
If you require a certificate of attendance or participation for your university please let us know by email and we can arrange this for you.
Conference dinner
The conference dinner will take place at 8pm on Wednesday 14th December.
The location of the conference dinner is the restaurant Bank, 4 Brindley Place, Birmingham, B1 2JB.
The opportunity to sign up for the conference dinner has now closed as we have already had to confirm final numbers with the restaurant.
Please note, the cost of the dinner will be charged at registration and is not covered by the conference registration fee. The cost of the dinner will be £37.40 a head, for food only. Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar.
The set menu will be:
First course – Parsnip, apple and chestnut soup with freshly baked bread (v)
Second course – Traditional British Christmas dinner – Roast turkey, pigs in blankets (= sausages and bacon), stuffing, cranberry sauce, vegetables, potatoes
OR
Butternut squash and goat’s cheese tart, lemon and thyme butter sauce, vegetables, potatoes (v)
Dessert – Vanilla crème brûlée (v)
Bank is in a busy area of bars and restaurants and also has a bar itself, so you may choose to go there before the meal at 8pm. You may choose to travel to Bank by taxi or train (from the University station to New Street (Grand Central) and a short walk) or you may choose to drive. There is pay and display parking available at Brindley Place in a multi-storey car park.
Accommodation
Accommodation is available on campus here.
Alternatively, the Edgbaston campus is only a short distance by public transport from the city centre and there are many options for accommodation in the centre. Delegates to previous EDIT colloquia have stayed at the Pentahotel in the city centre.

By train: There is a train station on campus called ‘University’, which is a short distance by train from Birmingham New Street station (Grand Central).

Parking
Visitor parking at the university costs £6 per full day on a pay and display basis. Delegates may park on campus in any of the three pay and display car parks, but the most suitable car park is the North East car park (multi storey). Click here and select ‘Travelling by car’ for more details.

Team and Advisory Board Dinner
