In June we will launch a digital reading competition where we invite students and teachers to submit their ideas for using the CLiC web app in the classroom. The best activities will be added to a new version of our CLiC Dickens Activity Book and will also be featured here on the CLiC Dickens Blog!
Inspiration for creating CLiC activities
The Digital Reading Competition is your chance to create CLiC teaching activities. You can find examples of how CLiC has been used in the classroom in guest posts by teachers:
Another case study of CLiC is featured in the current issue of Babel – The Language Magazine, including a CLiC pull-out poster! Also have a look at the recent guest post by Babel editor Professor Dan McIntyre here on our blog.
You can also find inspiration in the free CLiC Activity Book (Version 1). If you would like to meet us in person you can join our seminar at this year’s NATE conference in Birmingham. On the NATE seminar programme you will find our session labelled as “SS7” and titled “CLiC – digital skills for reading literature”. The session will be taking place on Saturday 23 June, 10.35am.
